Coach Pitch 10th Batter

 

Please remember that the 10th batter for coach pitch has been removed and 10 run rule has been put in its place. The official rulen is from the General Rules and states:

 

In any one inning a team's time at bat will be considered complete after play has been completed in which the tenth or more run has been scored. Example: With one out and nine (9) runs previously scored in the inning, and bases loaded, the batter hits a double scoring all three (3) base runners, twelve (12) runs have scored, one is out, but the inning is considered complete. This rule does not apply to the pony division.

 

New Pay System

 

ORBA has introduced a new way for umpires to report games in order to get paid for the 2010 season. Pay checks will still be given every week based on the games submitted to ORBA.

 

The new pay system consits of clicking on the Submit Pay tab in the navigation panel to the right and filling out the form on the page. To fill out the form each umpire must submit there name, date of the game, division, both teams and the score of the game. This form should be filled out the night of the game if possible but, they should be filled out no later then Sunday at 10am in order to get paid for that game.
